Egypt, Symphony X

Esta vez voy a ser tan concreto que voy a escribir sobre una canción de un grupo llamado Symphony X, solo de la canción Egypt, porque no conozco el grupo lo suficiente como para hablar de ellos. Además creo que esta canción es la clave para promocionar este grupo y llegar al espectro más amplio posible.

Pues sí, en mi contínua búsqueda de nueva música, que en estos ultimos días se ha dirigido casi únicamente hacia el progressive metal, me encontré esta obra maestra. Los más puros seguidores del metal quizá prefieran las canciones mas duras y potentes, pero para mí esta es la mejor del grupo de todas las que he escuchado. Y he escuchado las que más gustan, pero aún así no cambio. Esta canción con aire egipcio me entusiasma hasta el punto de escucharla mil veces seguidas sin parar, y cuanto más lo hago, mejor me hace sentir, noto cada vez más esa sensación eufórica cuando llega el estribillo y escucho el grito melódico y perfecto del cantante, y los escalofríos de placer en las cadencias.

Y no solo el estribillo es bueno, el resto de la obra no hace sino realzarlo enmarcandolo más en su estilo, haciendo que tenga unas proporciones perfectas en su estructura. Cada parte es imprescindible y mejora a las demás, y todas duran el tiempo justo. No es lo mejor que he escuchado desde luego, pero es lo que llevo 2 días escuchando sin parar, y de momento no me canso…
